The Hammer of Nemar Firewalker
This massive iron hammer looks as much like a tool as a weapon, but it is far too large for anyone but a troll to use at the forge.
|Non-Legendary state||stout maul +3 (Large stout warhammer +3 for trolls and Large creatures)|
First Thread (Woven by Cro-Mag)
The Weaver must know that he holds the Hammer of Nemar Firewalker. Cro-Mag knows this.
|Effect||The item functions as a stout maul +4|
|Property||On a critical hit, the target takes a cumulative -2 penalty to weapon damage rolls (or natural attack rolls if the target is a construct).|
|Power||Daily, no action. Trigger: You hit a target wearing heavy armor with this weapon. Effect: The target is either slowed until the end of the encounter, or suffers a -2 penalty to AC and Fortitude until the end of the encounter (the target chooses).|
Second Thread (Named for Cro-Mag by Icewing)
The Weaver must learn the story of the pilgrimage of Nemar Firewalker. Cro-Mag knows this.
|Effect||The item functions as a stout maul +5|
|Property||The wielder can use the Forge Armor or Forge Weapon martial practices to make crystal armor or weapons, paying only 80% of the component cost. The components must include the appropriate True Element for the item, as well as as sufficient crystal. Not all armor or weapons can be made from crystal (DM’s discretion).|
|Power (at-will)||Standard action. The wielder can sense the direction, distance, type, and rough size of the largest concentration of True Element or orichalcum within 500 yards.|
|Power (Daily)||Standard action. As the fighter power Earthquake Smash, except the power is not reliable.|
The user must go on a pilgrimage and seek Upandal’s approval to wield the hammer.
|Effect||The item functions as a stout maul +6|
|Power (Daily)||Standard action. As the barbarian power Stone Tempest Rage, except you do not enter the rage state unless you spend an action point to do so. This replaces Earthquake Strike.|
